Complete Selection Process & Examination Pattern
Selection will be carried out through a Two-Stage Examination System: (1) Preliminary Examination (PT) and (2) Main Examination (Mains). There is NO INTERVIEW. Candidates are allowed a maximum of 05 attempts in the teacher recruitment exam.
1. Preliminary Examination (PT – Screening Test):
- Single General Studies paper containing 150 Multiple Choice Questions (150 Marks) for 2 hours duration.
- Five Options (A, B, C, D, E): Candidates must choose Option (E) if they do not wish to attempt a question. If an examinee leaves all 5 options blank, it will be treated as an unanswered attempt and will invite negative marking.
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd (one-third) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer or unselected blank question.
- Candidates between 2.5 times and 10 times the vacancies will qualify for the Main exam.
