Selection Criteria & Merit Preparation Formula
- No Written Exam: Shortlisting is done automatically through an online system-generated merit list based on 10th standard marks aggregated to 4 decimal places.
- Grade Conversion: For marks cards showing grades, marks are computed by multiplying Grade Points by 9.5 (e.g., A1 = 10 × 9.5 = 95 marks).
- Tie-Breaking Hierarchy: In case of equal marks, merit is determined strictly by: Date of Birth (Older candidate preferred) → ST trans-woman → ST female → SC trans-woman → SC female → OBC trans-woman → OBC female → EWS trans-woman → EWS female → UR trans-woman → UR female → ST trans-male → ST Male → SC trans-male → SC Male → OBC trans-male → OBC male → EWS trans-male → EWS male → UR trans-male → UR male.
